Qaletaqa Was a vision long from my childhood. I was introduced to the mastiff breed as a child. I was later reintroduced to the breed as an adult in 1995. My husband and I shared the same vision and love of the breed. I have research for many years to find, What I feel is the mastiff in it's truest form. nobility and standards of today. We are currently owned by mastiffs. We learned a long time ago, We do not own them, they own our hearts.

The name Qaletaqa is derived from my Native American side. The Hopi meaning of Qaletaqa is Guardian of the people. I felt with my lineage and the lineage of the mastiff. It was the perfect mix.

We enjoy the love of our family members as well as dabble in the show ring. We love the ability of the mastiffs to fit into our life so perfectly.

I have completed a Vet Asst course and am furthering my education  in an  associates degree in applied animal science.Most of my time is spent with studying and writing with my best friends laying at my feet gathered around the computer desk. I enjoy being able to share my life with my loved loyal breed. I was an avid Rottwieler and Pitbull fancier until the mastiff stole my soul. Now I see nothing but slobbering love in my future.

We are located In beautiful Northeast Ohio, Just outside of Mohican State Park and river on a beautiful farm allowing us to take in all of God nature at it's finest.
